sclc/W.O.M.E.N. Inc., have been in the forefront of the Civil Rights Movement for more than four decades. Our founder, Dr. Evelyn Gibson Lowery was the quintessential civil rights wife, woman and warrior. She is fondly remembered as a wise woman of substance, who was shaped by the Movement and motivated by her mate and life partner, Dr. Rev. Joseph Lowery.

JOIN THE ORIGINAL CIVIL RIGHTS HERITAGE TOUR
A Two-Day Roundtrip Motor Coach All Inclusive Event, founded by Mrs. Evelyn Gibson Lowery in 1987. In the remembrance of those who sacrificed and gave their lives to the movement, Mrs. Evelyn Lowery and sclc/W.O.M.E.N., Inc. has constructed thirteen memorials in their honor.
HEAR THE STORIES OF GUIDES WHO WERE THERE IN 1965.
SEE THE SITES AND MEET THE PEOPLE OF THE MOVEMENT.
We will be stopping in Birmingham, Marion, Whitehall, Selma and Montgomery, Alabama to visit historic sites, meet the people, and view 14 monuments of Icons of the Movement.
2027 Drum Major for Justice Awards Gala
Join us for the 48th Annual Drum Major for Justice Awards Dinner, presented by sclc/W.O.M.E.N., Inc. The event includes musical performances and awards for business owners, activists, and leaders who advocate for justice, peace, and positivity in their communities and the civil rights movement.
